The Girl Before
You are Tamara, or Tammy for your friends. Your family is together for Summer Break, what will you do?
This game is quite basic, is a sort of prologue for one of the secondary characters of our other game "A Second Chance" where Tammy is a drunken mess most of the time when she is not being passed around somewhere else like a toy, but what happened before? What made her view on life change so much?
In "The Girl Before" you get into the shoes of Tamara or Tammy, she will soon go to college and will expend the next month with her family, but she wants to leave with some good memories of them, whether you end up falling in love with your little brother, wind up as a sex-partner for your father or become the lover of your mother, it will be up to how you choose to interact with them.
The principle of "The Girl Before" is simple, you choose two options with your family members over the course of three acts, at the end, depending on your relationship with them, you will get an ending.
Be warned! Those who wish to play our other game "A Second Chance", be warned that the writing differs from this one, since it does not uses dialogue, and more importantly, it is not a linear game, only this one is. Whether this game has 55 passages and 30,000 words of playable content, "A Second Chance" contains over 350 passages and 110,000 words of playable content. This games are VERY different.
Hope you enjoy. Yours truly, The Writer.

I still don't see how this leads to her becoming a depressed, black-out drunk chain weed-smoking mess with a dog, but it was a nice story. It'd have been great if we could get multiple family members in the end, but still.

You're right tho, that's a great idea
I like the huge amount of pictures we can see in the game and the limited choices we have (I don't feel like I'm lost in remembering what I already tried and what I didn't). Using colors to see what actions give relationship points is really cool too!
I had a LOT of trouble with reaching the mom ending but when I did found it, even if I ended up wishing there was more, the text was totally worth it 🥰
Thank you very much!
Means a lot.
